Want to give more to the Church?

There are many ways to give:

  • Free will offering envelopes
  • Property envelopes
  • 50p pieces, 20ps and coppers
  • By supporting fundraising events
  • By organising your own fundraiser
  • Through ‘Gift Aid’ on your offering and donations (if you’re a taxpayer)
  • By donating through a standing order or through on-line payment
  • By supporting our Gift Day
  • By donating clothes to our appeal which gathers money
  • Through donations to our minister (Alan) or our treasurer (Nigel).

If you need help with details like account numbers or how to contribute, please see Nigel, Alan or any of our stewards who’ll be glad and grateful to help!

Help required!

With Church cleaning:
Could you help to hoover and dust the church building on a weekly rota?
Just the church sanctuary, not the halls.
Please contact Kerrie or Jonathan if you can help in any way.

With Readings and Prayers:
Would you be able to read the Bible reading on a Sunday morning or to lead prayers for others during the morning service?    If you could help in this way, please speak to Alan.

With our Parents and Toddlers Group:
Helpers are required on Monday mornings 9.45 – 12.00, to help set out toys and other duties e.g. to make toast, juice, tea.    If you could help, Stella (Stewart) and Hazel (McMeekin) would love to hear from you!

Welcome Service

There was a welcome service for Alan on Sunday 17th September at 7:00pm in Joanmount.

We were joined by our friends from Cavehill Methodist and Jennymount Methodist for the service.  View some photos here.

Christmas Craft and Coffee

it’s getting near that time again!  Our ‘Christmas Craft & Coffee’ morning is on Saturday 18th November, which is (unbelievably) less than 5 weeks away.

Please start ‘getting crafty’ and if you’ve ideas to share, please talk to Lynne or one of our stewards.
